It is my philosophy to provide patient-centered care and earn the trust and respect of my patients. I do this with a gentle touch and calm demeanor in order to make my patients’ dental experience pleasant and comfortable. I take great pride in my workmanship and want everyone's smile to look exceptional. I work tirelessly to ensure my treatment plans meet the cosmetic, functional, and economic goals of my patients. In practice since 2004, I have gained a breadth of experience and am committed to your dental health needs for the long term.
Growing up in Castle Rock, WA, on nearly 100 acres at the base of Mt. St. Helens, I took advantage of the many benefits of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, such as fishing, hiking, and camping. I spent most of my childhood playing sports and working toward my dream of becoming a dentist.
I received my undergraduate education at the University of Washington, and then went on to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry. The University of Washington School of Dentistry is an institution known for its excellence in training dental professionals and is an international leader in education, research and clinical services. Throughout my dental education I was taught to be progressive about oral health and to educate my patients about the latest advances in dentistry. Akin to the mission of the University, I am committed to ethical and responsible leadership in patient care.
As a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Thurston Mason County Dental Society, I continuously update my education and stay at the forefront of dental technology and materials.
Community and Family
I am passionate about my volunteer and philanthropic activities in the Olympia community. I strongly support the work of the Olympia Union Gospel Mission Dental Clinic and the oral health education programs at Hands-On Children’s Museum. Additionally, my wife Jessica and I proudly support the Providence St. Peter Foundation and its efforts to promote health in our local community.
When I’m not working in dentistry, I enjoy traveling, running, hiking, and above all, spending time with my young family.
